Since yesterday we talked about local berries in Kronotsky Nature Reserve in such detail, it would be unfair not to mention our local mushrooms.
Autumn tundra around my ranger station is a kingdom of unpicked mushrooms. I have never seen so many of them anywhere else. Just do not ask me about the names - for example I have no idea how the species on last three photos of this post are called. These mushrooms are the most abundant around, along with porcini (Boletus edulis) and orange-cap boleti (Leccinum aurantiacum).
